I’m a homeschooling momma of 5, wife and avid knitter living in the country Midwest. I’ve been knitting since 2003 and creating and designing my own knitting patterns since 2008. I absolutely LOVE knitting and started my business when my oldest was napping each day–so I became Naptime Knitter Design.

Well, 5 kids later, I’m still knitting and designing patterns and making faux fur pom poms each day during nap time! I’ve been selling faux fur pom poms on Etsy since 2017 because they are beautiful and add such a finished look to hats! I love creating them every day!!  

As for my knitting: All of the patterns here are 100% written and designed by me, Hannah at Naptime Knitter Design. I may be inspired by other knitters, but I always design the patterns myself. 

I started my business making knitted hats and scarves for friends and family and then jumped into Etsy in 2016. It brings me so much joy knowing people are wearing and enjoying the knitwear that I’ve made with my own 2 hands. I know you can relate to that joy, too!!
